Love the atmosphere and the people, such a nice crowd of people all being themselves! The music is a nice mix of all alternative genres too which is a nice touch, especially when they play a track that I'd forgotten about!

This place is epic. Only having done the weekly streams on twitch and zoom, I have found an amazing bunch of people who love to have fun, go crazy and dance all night long. The music and DJs are very alternative and play anything from pirate/Viking/folk/power metal to industrial, clubby/dance, pop and even Disney themes. Usually the night is from 10pm-3am, but if enough donations are made, then the music is played through to 8am. We've had sessions which have gone through to 10am on occasions. It depends on the energy of the crowd and DJs. The main thing is, everyone is there to have fun and go wild...even doing cosplay or themed dress-up. It's a blast and can't wait to finally meet the Apocalypse family IRL in a week's time. Big shout outs to the DJs, Andrew and Rez, to the camera controller David, to the people behind the scenes, Panda and Pieces for all their hard work, commitment and constant requests. Also to my dancers in rhyme, Hini, Jed, Mike and Alex. You guys pump me up with so much energy. It's fantastic 😊 Back on it tomorrow night and can't wait. X

Such an excellent night! The music was so nastalgic and everyone had a great time! The bar staff were lovely aswell. I would defo recommed!

Apocalypse is a really fun night out no matter where it’s held - via the streams throughout Lockdown or in a venue somewhere in the U.K. I’ve seen this night grow, diversify and adapt in the years since it was born in a tiny basement club in Poole Valley, Brighton - everyone involved should be proud! Yes, it can be a little cliquey at first but honestly that’s the same for every non-mainstream night, so it doesn’t affect the numbers of stars I’m giving. DJs are awesome, doorstaff are friendly, I love this night!

Fantastic club night! Diverse and welcoming! If you love the familiar vibe of ALL the Alt anthems, you will love this! Dress code is whatever you want it to be, dress extreme or low key, you'll feel comfortable either way!

Had an amazing first night out since clubs closed. There were a number of cool ideas that had been implemented to make it a really enjoyable evening despite the covid restrictions. The music was great and there was a really welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely go to the next one!

Ignore the bad reviews, I have been going here for years and can happily confirm they are not true. The music is awesome, always a great variety, amazing themed nights, and everyone is super friendly! How can anyone complain when the drinks are so cheap and it's a fun atmosphere??? THE BEST NIGHT OUT THERE IS.

Food 1 star-0 because Apocalypse doesn't serve food so there's nothing to rate here. Service always 5 star, Chessie at the door is incredibly warm and kind, Rez the owner is a bubbly and friendly face to bump into often either at the door or dancing with everyone, Grey is a sassy and warm cloakroom bean who loves a good chat and will love you for keeping them company ♥︎ The bartenders work as fast as they can to keep up with the demands. I put atmosphere as 4 and at no fault of the event, it is just because it's hard to mark any club event at perfect for the atmosphere as there's always a chance it can be ruined because of guests. Now a days a lot of creepy past people have been banned but if you've been going a while and have a lot of drama or beef with someone in the scene and they happen to be there or you've had a change in friends or there's an ex boyfriend that likes going sometimes then OBVIOUSLY the experience can be marred but it can also he marred by strangers. Ive had a few less than desirable experiences with some drunk individuals and even non drunk individuals. One lady straight up started insulting me and calling me dirty and disgusting and circling me like some alley cat all because, I assume, I told "her man" he looked cool at the bar. Not flirting. Just "hey you look cool" "thanks". Either way it's stuff like that can ruin it but thankfully this sort of thing hasn't happened for a long time. Apocalypse is usually very quick to respond to things like this and address it seriously. Again, this is of no fault to the event, this stuff can happen ANYWHERE and tbh compared to most clubs, at least they actually take care of things like this rather than ignoring it. I've been going for 5 years and a lot has changed in terms of the people, its gotten so much better. It's always great to see which people are still here and which people are new. It's like a family and we're all just trying to have a good time together by dancing and rocking out to some awesom

I’m absolutely in love with the vibe here. If you're into this scene, it’s the place to be. The atmosphere is super friendly and inclusive for everyone, including the LGBT community. Metalheads and emo kids are not aggressive at all they just want to jump in the mosh pit until their muscles ache 🤣 The music is great, though I’d personally love a bit more metalcore. Special shoutout to the girls' outfits, they are a literal work of art. The styles and makeup are just on another level. I felt like fire in my look last night! If you want to blow off some steam and see some serious alternative style, this is it. 10/10
